The steps
What happens, in order
- 01
Call, text or write
Tell us what happened in your own words. If you speak Spanish, you talk to someone who does.
- 02
We read what you have
Bring the claim form, the insurer's letters and your doctor's notes. We list what is missing.
- 03
We file or fix the claim
If no claim was filed, we file it. If one was denied, we ask for a hearing and gather the medical proof.
- 04
Care and pay while you heal
We push for the doctor visits and the checks the law says you're owed, and tell you what to do if either stops.
- 05
A hearing or a settlement
A judge can decide what you are owed, or the insurer may offer a settlement. You decide. We explain what each choice gives up.
- 06
After the claim
We help with going back to work, or with what to do if you can't.
Fees
Who pays for what
You pay no attorney's fee unless benefits or money are recovered for you. Our fee is a share of what is recovered, and the rules where your claim is filed, or a judge, can set or approve it.
Costs are separate
Costs are the out-of-pocket items a claim needs, such as medical records, reports from doctors and copies. Your fee agreement says how they are handled if there is no recovery. We go over that page with you before you sign.
Start with a call.
The first conversation is how we find out whether and how we can help.
No recovery, no fee. Costs are explained in your fee agreement before you sign.
